My three picks for the year. . . so far:

- First Kiss by April Lardner
I picked these poems because they are all love poems and they are all different kinds of love poems. Like,
Gee, you're so beautiful that its starting to rain, is a kinda of weird, and silly love poem. And then some are more serious like
Once Upon a Time and
First Kiss. Especially
First Kiss, I really love how it explores the relationship of young first love, and how its really not going to last and they aren't really in love. It just seems like an awkward state of two people.
